So it turns out I am not a great blogger. But I am trying to keep up and that is what matters. As of today I am in week 6 of 15 or really 12 if you count deadlines for my last class, portfolio class at the Academy of Art. The spring show is on May 22nd and I intend to be there, not sure how long I can stay in SF but am hoping Mike and I can have a mini vacation before the baby is born.
As many things in my life right now everything is up in the air, day by day, hour by hour. I am feeling much better these days, a bit more energy, and a lot less nauseous.
We have decided yet again to go the home-birth route. After many meetings with the midwife at the hospital and then meeting Stacy a home-birth midwife here in town I really felt so much more comfortable with her. I was having nightmares and anxiety about the hospital and after meeting Stacy I was so calm, and had good dreams which I took as a sign. Mike is in full support as well which is very important to me.
Mike has started his new job, working for a startup in Mountain View. He's working from home now and it's been a lot of help. He can do and help around the house so much more. Plus he's working within his talents and appreciated and that makes for a happy husband. There is a lot of travel involved especially these first couple months, of course when I'm the most stressed but having my mom here has helped a lot.
Not all is perfect and well though. Mikes dad is having health, doctor, medication problems and he will have to help him detox for about a week. My family is about at the end of their rope with my full time schedule though there is and end it's really hard on them.
I am really starting to enjoy my new church. I am not sure how long it will take me to stop calling it my new church, but I am sure I eventually will. Like GT it feels like home, comfortable, challenging and exciting. I hear them staying and doing the things we said and did in the early stages of GT life and that is spirit led and amazing.
Well friends I best be going. Lots of work to do, not a lot of time to do it in, but I needed to have a connection moment with you. I love you and have not forgotten about you, even if I am far away, or I don't leave the house for a week, your friendship means the world to me. Love and blessings to you all.
Stephanie
Hurray for connection points! Thanks for the update. Already eager to see you in May, if it works out. :)
